The public policy is a world of leadership that requires a leader to be vested with intellectual honesty. It is a world that requires a leader with the ability of advocating for causes and providing evidence in relation to theses causes. To be successfully, a leader must be familiar with a wide range of analytic methods. An urge to extract answers from the clutter of real-world public problems. Those are just some of the characteristics of someone who pursues the Master in Public Policy (MPP). It’s a rigorous two-year program that prepares you to understand complex problems and craft concrete solutions. Through courses, exercises and fieldwork, you master concepts and skills that draw on the social sciences but are adapted for action.

The public policy program at the United States Institute of Leadership and Diplomacy is  designed within the idea of strengthening democracies globally and empower local populations through an online civic engagement tool called Vote Compass: “When you aggregate data from an incredible amount of individuals in the population, you’re giving them a voice. The Complete MPP

At the heart of the program is a core curriculum that lets you learn across a range of areas. Classes are taught using a combination of traditional lectures and the case method, which was pioneered at the United States Institute of Leadership and Diplomacy.
